EdActs Global returned to the island of Utila, Honduras for their third trip, and second student led conference on plastics in June 2019. With students from Southern California and South Dakota, EdActs descended on Utila and provided educational information on plastics, collected hundreds of pounds of plastics from the beaches, worked with other nonprofits on the island to educate our students on the reptiles on the island, and assisted restaurants to rethink their plastics use. Our students are in the process of examining what we will be sharing for our next conference in 2020.
